On the 4th and 5th of November, INACH held its 2021 Annual Conference “Social media, helping or hindering democracy?”. We discussed new alternative social media platforms serving as a safe haven, AI, (un-)ethical algorithms, disinformation, and put a special focus on the state of social media in Africa.
