INACH Annual Conference 2021 - 'Social media, helping or hindering democracy?'

On the 4th and 5th of November, INACH held its 2021 Annual Conference “Social media, helping or hindering democracy?”. We discussed new alternative social media platforms serving as a safe haven, AI, (un-)ethical algorithms, disinformation, and put a special focus on the state of social media in Africa.
