Transfeminines NGO is a Finnish social and health patient organization founded in 2020. Our primary objective is to advocate for the rights of and provide support for trans people. We cooperate with other NGOs, municipalities and professionals to ensure the right to health and a good quality of life for trans people. We combat hate speech and anti- gender rhetoric online through different initiatives.

Transfeminines provides teaching and training to educational and healthcare institutions and other public and private institutions. We work with hospitals, educational institutions, professionals, administrative councils and other stake holders to disseminate comprehensive gender inclusive information and provide free psychosocial care and health advice to gender minorities.

Transfeminintes is also an anti- hate speech organization. Our organizations previous projects have focused on countering anti- gender hate speech, mapping gender based hate, and algorithmic radicalization online. Transfeminines NGO is currently a European Commission accredited monitoring organization for Finland.

In addition Transfeminines does national and global advocacy work for the rights of gender minorities. Transfeminines has succeeded in improving gender equality in Finnish law and services. Our global advocacy effort is focused on but not limited to the European Union.
