On the 5th of October jugendschutz.net presented “It’s all about the information”, a Member Webinar about tools, tricks, hints for research and documentation online.

The amount of data being pushed to the Internet each minute is staggering. Research on the Internet is a necessary part of the work of all INACH partners to fight hate online. This webinar highlighted several search tools and unsage of search engines. It provided assistance for research e.g. on social media platforms, also with huge amount of data. It also showed opportunities to collect information to be used in prosecution processes. In this webinar we mainly used free online tools or free programs – like Google Dorks, Social Searcher or the inteltechniques tool collection. Although not open-source, we also had a look at ther web capturing tool Hunch.ly.
