In their words:
Nevo Parudimos Association, based in Reșița, Romania, is a non-governmental organization established in 2008 that is dedicated to fostering human rights, social inclusion, and active democratic citizenship. With a core mission to reduce social and educational disparities, the association empowers marginalized groups, particularly youth and the Roma community, to counter inequality and intolerance. A major pillar of our work focuses on combating online hate speech, digital discrimination, and antigypsyism. Through targeted European initiatives such as the TAAO (Together Against Antigypsyism Online) we develop innovative educational tools and peer-led strategies to challenge hostile digital environments.Through Erasmus+ initiatives, non-formal education, and youth mobility projects, Nevo Parudimos equips young people, educators, and youth workers with the digital literacy and critical thinking tools needed to recognize and counter hate speech online. By promoting cyber-tolerance, intercultural dialogue, and human rights education both offline and in digital spaces, we empower the next generation to dismantle discriminatory narratives and co-create an inclusive, safe, and respectful online environment for everyone.
